Meeting between the heads of the Parliaments of Turkmenistan and Turkey

Constructive exchange of views on conditions and future development of multidimensional interstate cooperation took place under the meeting held in video conference format between the Heads of the Parliaments of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Turkey, Golden Age reports.

Having confirmed the interest of two countries in expansion of traditional relations in political and diplomatic, trade and economics, cultural and humanitarian spheres, the sides highlighted the necessity of activation of inter-Parliamentary cooperation, which makes significant impact on steadfast development of Turkmen-Turkish relations as well as exchange of practice in improvement of national legislative base.

As per opinion of both sides, the agreements achieved on the highest and inter-governmental level as well as regular meetings and talks serve directly to strengthening of interstate dialog.

It was mentioned that Open Doors policy of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and wide-scale reforms aimed at diversification of the economy and opening of new profitable branches and production facilities with application of innovative solutions and best world practice, including experience of Turkey, open wide perspectives for expansion of beneficial partnership.

In the end of online meeting, the Speakers of the Parliaments of Turkmenistan and Turkey have confirmed the intent to expand political and economic dialog of between two countries.
