Embassy of Turkmenistan in Iran took part in the Second National Forum of ECO and Iran

On September 16, 2025, the Second National Forum of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) and Iran was held at the Center for Political and International Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

For many years, mutually beneficial, constructive, and multilateral cooperation has been maintained between Turkmenistan and the Economic Cooperation Organization. The Turkmen side, as an active member of this organization, consistently participates in efforts aimed at developing economic cooperation among the member countries.

 

In this regard, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Iran took part in the Second National Forum of the Economic Cooperation Organization and Iran.

The forum was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Secretary-General of the Economic Cooperation Organization, Аmbassadors of the ECO member countries, and honored guests.

The purpose of the event was to analyze economic, technological, and communication cooperation among the ECO member countries, as well as to develop expert proposals for preparing a new development strategy for the organization.

Additionally, within the framework of the forum, three specialized sessions were held: “Regional Communication and Connectivity,” “ECO and New Technologies,” and “ECO Vision 2035.”
