The President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Masato Kanda, was on a visit to Turkmenistan. The President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, received the President of the Asian Development Bank, Masato Kanda, who arrived in the country on a visit.
As noted in the “Watan” news program, the meeting included an exchange of views on the 25 years of cooperation between the Asian Development Bank and Turkmenistan. In particular, discussions were held on projects implemented by Asia’s major financial institution in Turkmenistan, including cooperation in the energy, healthcare, and other sectors.
The President of the Asian Development Bank, Masato Kanda, also held several meetings during his visit. Masato Kanda held meetings at the Central Bank of Turkmenistan.
Following this, a ceremony for the signing of bilateral documents took place.
An agreement was signed between Turkmenistan and the Asian Development Bank to finance the construction of a secondary medical school in the city of Ashgabat.
A document on cooperation regarding technical assistance was signed between the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan and the Asian Development Bank.
Furthermore, the President of the Asian Development Bank, Masato Kanda, visited the secondary medical school in the city of Ashgabat within the framework of his visit.
