On March 12, 2024, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Georgia D.Seyitmammedov met with the rector of Tbilisi State Medical University Irakli Natroshvili.
The parties, noting the successfully developing Turkmen-Georgian relations in many areas, during the meeting focused their attention on various ways to deepen cooperation in the field of education, which today tends to develop consistently and fruitfully, as evidenced by exchanges of visits of representatives of universities conducted joint conferences, seminars, forums.
The parties especially emphasized that the previously signed Cooperation Agreement between the M.Garryev State Medical University of Turkmenistan and the Tbilisi State Medical University in the academic and scientific fields contributed to an even greater expansion and intensification of cooperation between educational institutions of the two countries.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness for further preparation and implementation of joint educational projects between Turkmenistan and Georgia.
