About the ceremony and exhibition dedicated to the “Year 2025 – the of International Year of Peace and Trust”

On May 13, 2025, a ceremony was held in the building of the Consulate of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan in Aktau to mark the “Year 2025 – The Year of International Peace and Trust”.

During it, the importance of the recognition of our country’s permanent neutrality by the international community and the trends arising from it were emphasized.

At the conference, the Consul of Turkmenistan M. Abdyllayev noted in his speech that Turkmenistan’s active foreign policy and the creative initiatives put forward by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow enjoy wide support in the world, and also noted the adoption of resolutions by the UN General Assembly on “2025 as the Year International of Peace and Trust” and “Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan”.

He emphasized that Neutral Turkmenistan makes a significant contribution to promoting peace and security in the world, strengthening mutual understanding, friendly, trusting relations and effective cooperation between states and peoples, and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

The conference was attended by representatives of the Turkmen diaspora living in the Mangistau region of Kazakhstan, as well as students studying at the Sh. Yesenov State University of Engineering and Technology in Aktau.

An exhibition of paintings that reveal the national values ​​of our country was organized within the framework of the conference. The exhibition of paintings depicting handicrafts, jewelry and textile products of the Turkmen people attracted the attention of the participants of the event. Then the Consul of Turkmenistan M. Abdyllayev expressed his gratitude to the participants of the conference and the exhibition.

At the end of the conference, participants were shown videos about the permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan.
