On October 5, 2025, a delegation from Turkmenistan, headed by the G.Mezilov, Rector of the Oguz han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan, took part in the 22nd annual meeting of the forum “The Role of Science and Technology in Society (STS)”, which was held in Kyoto, Japan.
The conference included an official opening ceremony, introductory speeches, a plenary session, and thematic sessions.
The official opening of the STS forum was attended by Emperor Naruhito of Japan and high-level delegations from a number of countries around the world.
During the conference, the Turkmenistan delegation held meetings and discussions on issues aimed at expanding cooperation between countries in the fields of science, technology, innovation, and education.
