Turkish company Çalık Enerji will serve as Premier Partner of the International Conference and Exhibition “Development of the Construction, Industrial, Chemical and Energy Sectors of Turkmenistan” (CIET 2026). Taking place on 3–5 November 2026 at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat, the event will bring together government representatives, international businesses, investors, financial institutions and technology providers.
Part of Çalık Holding, Çalık Enerji specialises in turnkey energy projects, including the engineering, procurement and construction of power plants. Its activities also span electricity transmission and distribution and renewable energy, with projects across Central Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Cooperation with Turkmenistan forms a significant part of the company’s activities. Among its major completed projects is the 1,574 MW Mary-3 Combined Cycle Power Plant, inaugurated in September 2018. As Turkmenistan’s first combined cycle power plant, the facility marked an important step in the development of the country’s electricity sector.
Another area of cooperation concerns the development of new generating capacity in Balkan velayat. In October 2023, a presidential resolution authorised the State Electric Power Corporation Türkmenenergo to conclude a contract with Çalık Enerji for the construction of a 1,574 MW combined cycle power plant in Turkmenbashy district, together with transmission lines connecting the facility to the national grid.
The company’s experience in power plant construction and electricity infrastructure development is directly relevant to the themes of CIET 2026. The forum will address industrial growth, modern construction, energy, chemicals, infrastructure and investment, with a focus on advanced technologies and practical international cooperation.
CIET 2026 will provide a platform for exchanging engineering and management expertise, discussing prospective projects and establishing business connections. Çalık Enerji’s participation as Premier Partner will bring experience in delivering large-scale energy projects in Turkmenistan and international markets to these discussions.
