Minister of Turkmenistan and Georgia held a telephone conversation

On 9 July 2026, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili held a telephone conversation with the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov.

The ministers discussed issues pertaining to bilateral cooperation, as well as matters related to the upcoming visit of the President of Turkmenistan to Georgia.

The discussion also focused on the importance of developing cooperation between Georgia and the countries of Central Asia.

The parties highlighted prospects for the further development of bilateral relations and emphasized the importance of maintaining high-level dialogue.
