On June 23, 2026, as part of his working visit to the Republic of Poland, the Chairman of the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan A. Sazakov, held a working meeting with the Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration of the Republic of Poland, Dr. Maciej Duszczyk.
During the meeting, the parties expressed confidence in the effectiveness of the signed Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Migration between the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan and the Border Guard of the Republic of Poland.
The conversation continued with an exchange of views on further strengthening migration cooperation. Key priority areas, including the digitalization of migration systems and the development of migration policy, were discussed during the meeting. The parties also separately addressed cooperation in migration management at both regional and global levels. In concluding the meeting, the sides emphasized their commitment to ongoing interaction in the migration sphere and stressed that every effort would be made to practically implement the achieved agreements.
On the same day, the Chairman of the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan A. Sazakov, held a working meeting with the Head of the Office for Foreigners of the Republic of Poland, Mr. Tomasz Citrinowicz.
During this working meeting, the parties highlighted the importance of coordinating priority areas of migration interaction and exchanged views on key issues concerning the management of safe, orderly, and legal migration. They also discussed mutual experience sharing regarding the widespread implementation of high-tech innovative methods within the migration system.
