On 6 April 2026, a telephone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Hakan Fidan.
During the conversation, the sides discussed issues of bilateral partnership, as well as regional and international matters of mutual interest.
Particular attention was paid to the interaction between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Türkiye within the framework of international organizations, as well as major international forums and meetings.
