Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Communications and Japan’s Muroosystems Corporation to Create a Data Center Network

The Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan and the Japanese company Muroosystems Corporation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The document aims to develop cooperation in the creation and modernization of data centers (DCs) within the country.

The memorandum solidifies the parties’ intention to establish long-term partnerships for the implementation of projects involving the construction of new data centers in Turkmenistan. The primary goal of the agreement is the introduction of advanced technological solutions and the development of digital infrastructure in accordance with international standards.

As part of the partnership, innovative approaches to the design and operation of the facilities are planned. The implementation of these agreements is expected to significantly strengthen the national IT infrastructure, enhance the digitalization of the economy, and expand capabilities for secure data storage and processing.
