Ambassador of Turkmenistan met with the Chairman of the Ankara Chamber of Commerce and Industry

On January 22, 2026, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Türkiye, Mekan Ishanguliyev, held a meeting with the Chairman of the Ankara Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Gürsel Baran.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the development of bilateral trade and economic cooperation, in particular interaction in the energy, transport and logistics, agricultural, and construction sectors, as well as in the food industry.

In addition, the sides exchanged views on establishing sustainable contacts between the business communities of the two countries and on the prospects for participation in the implementation of joint investment projects. Proposals were put forward to intensify cooperation between small and medium-sized enterprises of Turkmenistan and Türkiye, including the participation of entrepreneurs in exhibitions and forums, as well as attracting mutually beneficial investments.
