On January 7, 2025, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Turkmenistan Ahmet Demirok.
During the meeting, the sides reviewed the priority areas of the Turkmen-Turkish agenda. The diplomats discussed present issues of cooperation of mutual interest. Special attention was paid to the collaboration of two countries on the platforms of regional and international organizations.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye expressed gratitude to the leadership of Turkmenistan for the medal “In honor of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi”.
In conclusion, the sides discussed issues of holding joint events within the framework of the “International Year of Peace and Trust”.
