Ambassador of Turkmenistan met with Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia

On 4 October 2024, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan in Georgia D.Seyitmammedov met with the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia G.Guramishvili.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues on father strengthening and expanding mutually beneficial bilateral trade–economic and investment cooperation. The role of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Georgian Commission on Economic Cooperation in the intensification of partnership between the two countries was highlighted.

Among the topical areas of cooperation were identified the spheres of energy and transport, the possibilities of further implementation of joint projects for the development of transport and logistics and energy structure were considered. The role of transport and transit corridors in the development of economic partnership, industrial and energy cooperation, trade and investment was once again emphasized.

At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed readiness for further and active cooperation for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.
