Over the past ten years, members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan have planted on the territory of the countrymore than 13 million seedlings of fruit trees and vine. 70% of them have already begun to harvest.
Fresh fruits from the sector private go both to the country’s markets and are sent for processing to high-tech factories of Turkmen entrepreneurs. There, juices, mashed potatoes, jams and other useful products are made from them.
The UIET provides business advice on increasing crop yields and conducting agrotechnical measures. Particular attention is paid to explaining the principles of rational water use, the introduction of water-saving technologies, the use of modern insulating means (geotextiles, geomembranes) to eliminate the loss of water resources.
The Union, with the assistance of international organizations, conducts seminars and various consultations on the use of drip and rain irrigation technologies, the introduction of the best world experience in crop production.
