A meeting via videoconferencing was held in the MFA of Turkmenistan between the leadership of the State Committee of Turkmenistan on Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography and the First Deputy of the Director-General of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Russian State Television and Radiobroadcasting Company” A.Zlatopolskiy.
During the meeting, the parties expressed interest in the development of cooperation in the area of informational exchange and collaboration via the mass media. The key stages of work for the current year were discussed, including the coverage by the Russian mass media of the events in honor of the 30th anniversary of Independence of Turkmenistan and 140th anniversary of Ashgabat’s establishment.
Upon the outcomes of the talks, the parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the State Committee of Turkmenistan on Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography and the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Russian State Television and Radiobroadcasting Company”.
