Presentation of the new book by President of Turkmenistan was held in Romania

On January 7, 2026, the presentation of the new book by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, “Neutrality of Turkmenistan – A Bright Way of Peace and Trust,” was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania.

Opening the event, participants emphasized that the presented publication is the result of a deep and comprehensive understanding of the historical experience and contemporary significance of Turkmenistan’s policy of permanent neutrality, which has received recognition and support from the international community. In this regard, it was noted that the book reveals the legal and political foundations of neutrality, its constructive role in ensuring regional and global stability, and Turkmenistan’s contribution to fostering a culture of peace and trust.

A logical continuation of the presentation was an exhibition of books by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and National Leader of the Turkmen People Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, dedicated to the country’s achievements since independence. The exhibition vividly illustrated Turkmenistan’s progressive development, its socioeconomic transformations, and its foreign policy initiatives aimed at strengthening international cooperation.

The event was attended by Turkmen students and Turkmen citizens living in Romania. The students’ presentations in English and Russian added a special depth to the meeting, emphasizing the relevance of the ideas of peace, mutual respect, and trust reflected in the book, as well as their importance for the younger generation.

The event further highlighted Turkmenistan’s foreign policy, based on the principles of permanent neutrality, and strengthened humanitarian and social ties with Turkmen compatriots abroad.
