On September 3, 2024, the delegation of Turkmenistan participated in the official opening ceremony of the International exhibition of the smart cities called “2024 World Smart City Expo” in Goyang, Republic of Korea.
At this exhibition, the Turkmen side presented a pavilion dedicated to the smart city of Arkadag, introducing its capabilities and features.
The “2024 World Smart City Expo” International exhibition was attended by the provinces of the Republic of Korea, local and foreign companies, and various countries (Turkmenistan, the People’s Republic of China, Japan, Malaysia, the Kingdom of Thailand, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Kingdom of Denmark, Finland and the State of Israel). It includes a total of 116 pavilions and is attended by representatives of more than 60 countries at the level of ministers, deputy ministers and provincial governors.
