Turkmenistan and UAE: educational relations strengthened

On September 18, a meeting was held with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates Ahmed Al Hay Al Hameli at the S.A.Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University.

At the meeting, Allaberdi Gapurov, Rector of the S.A.Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University, greeted the guest cordially and told about the structure of the higher education institution and the work being done there.

The rector gave concrete examples of the activities of the university’s faculties and departments, scientific centers, and vocational training schools. He spoke about the adoption of Memorandum and Agreement with 13 parallel higher educational institutions, 5 companies and the Beijing Botanic Garden, and the achievements in the development of international relations.

Also, mentioned about the events, conferences, and competitions held at the international level at the university. And the work on building the Agricultural University in the city of Arkadag was proudly noted.

In his speech, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates highly appreciated the work being done to develop the science and education system and agriculture in Turkmenistan and wished him great success in the future.

They talked about the achievements in the development of relations between Turkmenistan and Arab countries, including the UAE. Interest was expressed in participating in competitions and forums organized by our higher education institution, and initiatives to develop cooperation in the future were expressed.
