Turkmen-Russian cooperation in the construction sector

On July 15, 2020 Turkmen-Russian talks on bilateral cooperation in the field of construction and construction materials were held in the video- conference format.

Turkmen side was represented at the talks by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Construction Materials M.Orazov and the representatives of the Ministry. Russian side was headed by the Chairman of the Committee of Construction of Saint-Petersburg I.Kreslavskiy. The delegation also included Deputy Chair Person of the Committee on External Relations of Saint-Petersburg A.Hlutkov and representatives of business community of Saint-Petersburg.

During the meeting the issues of exchange of experience in the construction field, introduction of new technologies in the production of building materials, which are used in housing construction, and also the issues of fire security, stability and others were discussed.

The sides separately noted actual directions of cooperation in this field, in accordance with the understanding reached at the videoconference meeting on June 19, 2020, between the Co-Chairmen of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Russian Commission on Economic Cooperation, R.O.Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and A.L.Overchuk, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation.
