As part of the visit of the delegation of the Republic of Korea to Turkmenistan, timed to coincide with the meeting of speakers of parliaments “Central Asia – Korea”, the wife of the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, Ms. Shin Kyunghae, visited the King Sejong Korean Language and Culture Center, established in 2019 on the basis of the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages.
The guest paid special attention to the calligraphy competition, which was attended by students of the center who study Korean at primary and secondary levels. The winners were awarded certificates of honor and memorable gifts.
The King Sejong Korean Language and Culture Center, whose activities are supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Turkmenistan and the King Sejong Institute Foundation, plays an important role in strengthening cultural ties between the two countries.
