The Turkmenistan Investment Forum has begun

Today, the Turkmenistan Investment Forum (TIF-2024) was ceremonially inaugurated at the “Yyldyz” Hotel in our capital, Ashgabat. The “Atawatan Media” group also participated in the event.

The organizers of the international conference and exhibition on attracting high technologies and innovations to Turkmenistan’s economy are the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed the forum participants via a video message, noting that this forum is of great importance for strengthening the country’s economic development and international cooperation.

The ceremonial opening of the Turkmenistan Investment Forum was attended by members of the government, heads of ministries and sectoral agencies, foreign ambassadors, representatives of financial and banking institutions, and media correspondents.

The international forum is attended by more than 400 delegations from over 20 countries. Among the participating countries are delegations from the USA, Russia, Malaysia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and many neighboring countries.

A delegation led by Malaysia’s Foreign Minister Dato Seri Utama Haji Mohamad bin Haji Hasan, who is currently visiting Turkmenistan, also participated.

Additionally, a high-level delegation from the Republic of Uzbekistan is attending, including Uzbekistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Hojayev and Transport Minister Ilhom Mahkamov.

The investment forum serves as a very important platform for presenting Turkmenistan’s economic opportunities to the international community.

The forum is also highly significant for Turkmen entrepreneurs, as bilateral meetings to be held during the event will open up many opportunities.

The Turkmenistan Investment Forum will conclude its work tomorrow.
