The Exhibition of Turkmen art and culture opened in the Parliament of Romania

On the 10th of September 2019, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania jointly with the Interparliamentary Friendship Group “Romania-Turkmenistan” organized a national Exhibition of Turkmen art and cultural pieces in the “Constantin Brancusi” Hall of the Parliament of Romania.

The deputies of the Parliament, heads and staff members of the foreign diplomatic missions accredited in Bucharest, representatives of the ministries and organizations of Romania, scientists and art workers, representatives of local society and media, as well as the residents and guests of Romanian capital participated in the official opening ceremony of the Exhibition

In their opening speeches, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Romania and the Chairman of the Interparliamentary Friendship Group “Romania-Turkmenistan” noted that the Exhibition will make a valuable input in strengthening cultural-humanitarian cooperation between the fraternal people of Turkmenistan and Romania.

The colorful photographs about Turkmenistan, national jewelry and handmade carpets, pictures of Turkmen painters, national costumes, embroideries made by Turkmen craft women, Turkmen musical instruments, books of the President of Turkmenistan and other informational materials about Turkmenistan were presented to visitors at the Exhibition.

The culinary part became yet another important component of the festive event, in the framework of which the guests were offered the dishes of Turkmen cuisine.

The Exhibition of Turkmen art and cultural pieces will continue until the end of September 2019.
