Textile products of Turkmenistan were presented at the Import Goods Fair 2022

Today, 23 June the opening ceremony of Import Goods Fair 2022 was held today in Seoul, the capital of the Republic of Korea. For the first time, Turkmenistan demonstrates the potential of its textile industry at this prestigious event.

With participants from more than 60 countries and with more than 70 companies in the Import Goods Fair, a national pavilion of Turkmenistan was also presented.

Participants of this multi-sectoral exhibition are able to see the environmentally friendly textile products of Turkmenistan, in particular, high-quality clothing, knitwear, jeans, “keteni”, various types of cotton and silk fabrics from such Turkmen manufacturers as “Nusaý”, “Gala”, ” Goza”, “Merw”, “Bedew”. In the national pavilion, along with the books of the Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, there are also printed materials on the achievements of our state in various fields, Turkmen carpets woven by craftswomen, national handicrafts and national decorations.

It should be noted that the participation of our national goods in this international exhibition is of particular importance as this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea. In addition, the display of goods produced in Turkmenistan at this exhibition will greatly contribute to the development of fruitful bilateral relations between our countries, which in recent years have reached a new qualitatively level and is enriched with new content.

This exhibition will be open until 25 June 2022.
