On May 27, 2020, in the building of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan, within the framework of the preparation for “EXPO 2020”, a video conference was held with the organizers of the international exhibition “EXPO 2020”.
From Turkmen side the Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan participated in the videoconference. During the online meeting, the parties noted the high level of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates in a wide range and discussed the importance of the international exhibition “EXPO 2020” in Dubai from the point of view of developing trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian ties between the countries.
In particular, the parties exchanged views on organizational issues related to the participation of representatives of Turkmenistan in this large-scale event. The parties also agreed on cooperation in the preparation and holding of the world exhibition and discussed pressing issues of cooperation.
