Meet the ALSA Administration: Lawyers from Around the World

The Advanced Legal Scholars Association (ALSA), which operates under the UC Davis School of Law, has introduced its new administration to the public. According to information shared on ALSA’s social media by Media Coordinator Nezaket Agirman, the new administration brings together board members from various parts of the world.

Vice President Ruthlynn Ochengo represents the African continent, while Secretary General Elay Soltanahmadi, Cultural Coordinator Saha Pirzadeh, and Network Coordinator Noura AlObaid represent Middle Eastern countries. Media Coordinator Nezaket Agirman and Events Coordinator Sedat Aydin represent the European continent. Public Relations Coordinator Lidia Irias represents the Americas, and Student Affairs Coordinator Chloe Xiang represents Asian countries.

During his speech, ALSA President Dr. Dovran Orazgylyjov from Turkmenistan stated: “Our administration unites board members from different parts of the world, showcasing a positive example of legal professionals working together who have grown up in various cultural environments.” President Dr. Orazgylyjov also noted, “Although our administration has the right to serve until the end of the year, we only wish to carry out this responsibility for one term and plan to hold elections at the end of the semester in accordance with ALSA’s constitution to elect a new administration.” He concluded his remarks by saying, “It is a great honor for me to pass on the role of ALSA leadership, a position that comes with great responsibility and respect, to the new administration that will be elected in the upcoming elections.”
