Language – the essence of culture

Under the leadership of our Hero Arkadag in the Epoch of Might and Happiness rising to the new heights of development, of reforms the material and spiritual values of the Turkmen people, is in accordance with natural laws. Because our people inspired by the bright happy future and successful achievements of our powerful state go forward with confidence at the speed of a racer to the glorious future. Under the wise and far-sighted leadership the care for people became one of the primary trends of the state policy.

In all educational institutions of the country, program work is being carried out in the field of multilingualism. In this regard, the adoption of the “Concept of improving the teaching of foreign languages in Turkmenistan” clearly showed that wide opportunities for learning foreign languages are being created at the state level. In accordance with this accepted Concept, a plan of actions to introduce advanced methods in teaching foreign languages and increase competitiveness at all levels of the national education system was developed.

Language helps us express our feelings and thoughts — this is unique to our species because it is a way to express unique ideas and customs within different cultures and societies. By learning a foreign language, you can understand ideas and thoughts that may be different from your own culture.

Language is one of the most important parts of any culture. It is the way by which people communicate with one another, build relationships, and create a sense of community. There are roughly 6,500 spoken languages in the world today, and each is unique in a number of ways.

Communication is a core component of any society, and language is an important aspect of that. As language began to develop, different cultural communities put together collective understandings through sounds. Over time, these sounds and their implied meanings became commonplace and language was formed. Intercultural communication is a symbolic process whereby social reality is constructed, maintained, repaired and transformed.

The importance of language in business is unmatched. Without language here, we can’t share ideas and grow them into something more. Whether this means learning a foreign language so you can share ideas with people who come from a different country, or simply learning how to use language to master an interview, demand presence in a room, or network with others, language is vital.

Humans all learn to talk at slightly different times, and observing when a child starts to use language can be indicative of how well they are developing. But this does not just apply to babies. It also applies to young children learning a second language in school that’s different than the language they speak at home, adults learning a second language, or even those who may have lost language due to some type of accident, and are working on regaining it.
