In Turkmenistan wheat cultivation and the cotton harvest will start soon. In our country, all the necessary conditions for the diligent work of our farmers and the abundant harvest from the soil have been created by our state. In our country is also implementing a program to strengthen food security and provide cotton raw materials to our industrial establishments. Quality seeds, mineral fertilizers, modern agricultural machinery, adequate chemicals and water resources are provided to our farmers.
At the current meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, our esteemed President said that two very important and responsible seasons, namely wheat sowing and cotton harvesting, are approaching for our grain and cotton farmers, all our agricultural workers and noted the importance of holding these seasons in a short, high-level and organized manner.
The President blessed the start of sowing wheat in the provinces of the country from September 2 this year and the start of cotton harvesting in Ahal, Balkan, Lebap and Mary provinces on September 9 and Dashoguz province on September 16.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov asked the elders to sow wheat and harvest cotton “Bissimilla!” to start with and sincerely wished the hardworking all the agricultural workers sound health, a peaceful and happy life, abundant harvest from the motherland.
