HIROH Launches a New Generation Secure Smartphone with Hardware-Level Privacy

HIROH, a global innovator in secure everyday communications, officially launches its next-generation secure smartphone at CES 2026, taking place January 6–9 in Las Vegas. Designed for users who demand absolute control over their data, the HIROH phone introduces industry-leading hardware-enforced privacy protections without sacrificing performance, design, or daily usability.

Powered by Murena’s /e/OS, the HIROH phone delivers a premium smartphone experience while offering physical privacy controls not available on mainstream devices. According to the company, the device rivals flagship smartphones such as the iPhone 16 and Samsung Galaxy S25 in performance and user experience, while providing a level of privacy protection those devices do not offer.

Hardware-Level Privacy Controls

At the core of the HIROH phone is a dual hardware kill switch system. One physical switch electronically disables the microphone and camera, while the second disconnects GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. This architecture makes remote surveillance and unauthorized tracking physically impossible.

Unlike software-based privacy modes that limit device functionality, the HIROH phone remains fully operational in “secure mode,” with a visible physical indicator confirming that protections are active.

Operating System Choice

To meet the needs of both privacy-focused and mainstream users, HIROH offers two operating system options:

Murena /e/OS, providing a fully de-Googled, privacy-first mobile environment

Android 16, offering maximum compatibility with the traditional Android ecosystem

When using /e/OS, users retain access to curated third-party apps as well as the broader Android app ecosystem, while still benefiting from HIROH’s hardware-level privacy enforcement.

Global Compatibility and Availability

The HIROH phone is fully unlocked, compatible with global networks, and backed by a two-year warranty covering hardware and software defects. The device is available for purchase at HIROH.io for $999 USD, with deliveries scheduled to begin in March 2026.

HIROH at CES 2026

HIROH is exhibiting at CES 2026 in Eureka Park, located at the Venetian Expo, Hall G, Booth #62061, where attendees can experience the device firsthand and learn more about its privacy-focused architecture.

According to the company, the launch represents a major milestone in consumer security technology, offering users a practical alternative to traditional smartphones in an era of increasing digital surveillance and data exploitation.
