The Qinghai Ecological Industry Expo and the Tibetan Carpet Exhibition are being held in the Xining (Qinghai Province) in China during 6-10 September, Turkmenistan: Golden Age reports.
Within the framework of the industrial and environmental forum, there has been a round table on the topic of ‘Cooperation and development of the environmental industry”. The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the PRC Parakhat Durdyev has also taken part in the videoconference, too.
In his video message to the participants, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan focused on aspects of the national environmental strategy initiated by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Among the key objectives of the environmental policy are ensuring dynamic economic growth through the efficient and rational use of natural resources, the introduction of the principles of a green economy and adaptation to climate change, the consolidation of international efforts in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, and the development of a special UN Rescue Program Aral Sea and the UN Water Strategy.
