Current issues of Turkmen-Turkish relations discussed

On September 11, 2024, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Türkiye Mekan Ishangulyev met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Burhanettin Duran.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of Turkmen-Turkish relations. As part of the exchange of views on the most important aspects and key areas of bilateral partnership, the parties noted their mutual commitment to deepening ties in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

Along with this, an interested exchange of views took place on the main issues of dynamically developing bilateral cooperation in various fields.

The parties expressed deep satisfaction with the pace of development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Türkiye, emphasizing their mutual desire to further strengthen partnership in bilateral and multilateral formats.
