Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Georgia met with Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan in Georgia D.Seyitmammedov met with the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia G.Arveladze.
The sides noted with satisfaction the high level of bilateral relations, considered opportunities to expand trade and economic ties, investment cooperation, further implementation of joint projects for the development of transport, logistics and energy infrastructure, creation of conditions for direct contacts between the business communities of Turkmenistan and Georgia.
During the meeting, the sides also discussed issues related to regular meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Georgian Commission on Economic Cooperation.
The Ambassador also noted that the 300th Anniversary of the great Turkmen poet and philosopher Magtymguly Fragi will be widely celebrated in 2024 and informed G.Arveladze about the solemn events to mark this date.
At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed their confidence that the relations between Turkmenistan and Georgia, based on the principles of friendship, mutual respect and trust, will continue to develop actively for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.
The meeting was held in a friendly and trusting atmosphere.
