We are working on projects to export Turkmen electricity to Turkey via the Caspian Sea. This was stated by Ahmet Çalık, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Çalık Holding, during his speech at the Turkmenistan Investment Forum.

Today, the Turkmenistan Investment Forum began its work in Ashgabat. Ahmet Çalık, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Çalık Holding, delivered a speech at the plenary session titled “Turkmenistan’s Economic Development and Investment Opportunities.”

The Turkish businessman emphasized that extensive opportunities are being created for foreign investors to implement large-scale projects in Turkmenistan.

“The promising Turkmen market offers broad opportunities for international cooperation. Neutral Turkmenistan, which pursues a peaceful policy, always opens its doors to foreign partners. As Çalık Holding, we have been maintaining our cooperation in our homeland, Turkmenistan, for many years. We have participated in numerous projects in energy, healthcare, textiles, petrochemicals, and construction sectors. We are witnessing the rapid development of Turkmenistan,” said Ahmet Çalık.

The Turkish businessman also expressed pride in the company’s involvement and investments in international projects such as the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline and the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan electricity transmission line.

Ahmet Çalık announced that they are working on international projects to invest in exporting electricity from Turkmenistan to Turkey and neighboring countries through the Caspian Sea.

With the participation of Çalık Holding, more than 120 investment projects in energy, textiles, and construction have been implemented in Turkmenistan. The total value of contracts signed exceeds $13 billion.

Currently, Çalık Holding is constructing a major power plant with a capacity of 1574 MW in the Balkan region of Turkmenistan.
