At the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Iran took place an event dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi as well as the presentation of the newly published book of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov “Anau – culture originated from the millennia”.
The event was attended by cultural and literary figures, experts on Magtymguly literature living in Iran, as well as representatives of the mass-media.
The participants emphasized the special role of the newly published book of the President of Turkmenistan “Anau – culture originated from the millennia” in the study and popularization of the glorious history and rich national cultural heritage of Turkmenistan, the speakers focused on the scientific, educational and practical relevance of the book, which is distinguished by the information capacity of the content, depth and clarity of presentation of the material.
It was also noted that writing the book in Turkmen, English and Russian languages will make it easier for foreign readers to familiarize themselves with the book.
The publication of the new book in the year of the “Fount of Wisdom Magtymguly Fragi” as well as the coincidence of the year when the city of Anau was declared as the “Cultural capital of the Turkic world” will bring these events together and keeps them forever in the pages of history.
After, the cultural event continued with an exhibition of hand-drawn paintings dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi and the reading of poems of the great Turkmen poet.
