The 2027 edition will bring together the winners and runners-up of La Liga—Spain’s top-flight football league—and the finalists of the Copa del Rey: Real Madrid, Real Sociedad, FC Barcelona and Atlético Madrid, the country’s premier knockout competition.Supported by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism and key event partners, the 2027 Spanish Super Cup marks the tournament’s first-ever appearance in Türkiye, making it only the second host nation outside of Spain. The five-day event will draw football fans from around the globe to İstanbul. The tournament will feature three high-stakes matches—two semi-finals and the grand final—across three of the city’s premier stadiums.

Played as a four-team knockout tournament, the Spanish Super Cup is held annually and features the top two finishers from La Liga alongside the two Copa del Rey finalists. Under this format, the semi-final pairings for the 2027 edition will see Real Sociedad face Real Madrid, while Barcelona take on Atlético Madrid.The opening semi-final is set for 2 February at Chobani Stadium – Şükrü Saracoğlu Sports Complex, followed by the second semi-final on 3 February at Tüpraş Beşiktaş Stadium, with match allocations to be announced in the coming weeks. The two semifinal winners will advance to the grand finale, which will take place on 6 February 2027 at RAMS Park – Ali Sami Yen Sports Complex.
