On May 11, a meeting was held between the heads of the “Turkmennebit” State Concern and a delegation led by the Chairman of the Consultative Committee on Political Affairs under the Prime Minister of Malaysia.
During the talks, the parties discussed key issues for the further development of bilateral cooperation in the fuel and energy complex. This was reported in the “Watan” news program. The meeting participants confirmed their readiness to intensify joint efforts toward the effective utilization of the existing vast potential in the energy sector between Turkmenistan and Malaysia.
As a result of the business discussion, a new document was signed between the parties.
Within the framework of the meeting, a signing ceremony for a Protocol took place between the “Turkmennebit” State Concern and the Malaysian company “PETRONAS Carigali (Turkmenistan) SDN BHD.”
This document includes the commercial terms of the Product Sharing Agreement for the development of the 19th and 20th license blocks in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea.
