New Ambassador of Turkmenistan Presents Copies of Credentials in Washington

 On 9 April 2026, a solemn ceremony was held at the official Blair House residence, marking a new stage in diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the United States.

The Ambassador-designate of Turkmenistan to the United States, Esen Aydogdyyev, presented copies of his credentials to the Chief of Protocol of the United States, Monica Crowley. This was reported by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the U.S. via social media.

The event was attended by representatives of the U.S. Department of State, including Deputy Assistant Secretary of State John Pommersheim. The sides also exchanged views on further strengthening Turkmen-U.S. bilateral cooperation.
