Tourism demand to Türkiye remains to be at top

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye and Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency TGA confirm that tourist operations across the country are proceeding entirely as normal.  Amid widespread media coverage of the conflict in parts of the broader Middle East, Türkiye, a Mediterranean country, is not a party to this conflict. Its tourist destinations, including İstanbul, Antalya, Bodrum, İzmir, and Cappadocia, among the most visited in the world, continue to welcome guests from across Europe, North America, and the Asia-Pacific region without interruption. The three facts below are operational realities.

3 Facts about Türkiye

01 Holidays to Türkiye are operating as usual

Nothing has changed. Every resort, hotel, excursion, and experience in Türkiye’s tourism destinations is operating as booked. There have been no closures, disruptions, or government-issued restrictions on tourism activity anywhere in the country.

02 All flights to Turkish airports are departing on schedule.

İstanbul, Antalya, Bodrum, İzmir, and all other major Turkish international airports are operating normally. No Turkish airport has been subject to any closure, restriction, or rerouting due to regional events. Airlines serving Türkiye have reported zero flight cancellations due to the conflict.

03 Summer 2026 is on sale. Book with confidence.

Tour operators, OTAs, and booking partners are encouraged to actively sell Türkiye for the full 2026 summer season. Demand remains strong among travellers who understand the geographical reality. Türkiye’s Culture and Tourism Ministry is committed to supporting partner communications with data, quotes, and briefings on request.
