On March 11, 2026, a working meeting was held via videoconference between representatives of the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan and the The Presidency of Migration Management of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Türkiye.
During the meeting, it was noted that Turkmen-Turkish relations are gaining new substance and that bilateral cooperation is developing on a systematic basis.
The parties exchanged views on the prospects and opportunities for Turkmen-Turkish cooperation in the field of migration and discussed its key priorities. The role of cooperation within international organizations in developing traditional friendly relations between the two countries was also emphasized.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants expressed confidence that cooperation in the field of migration will continue to develop in the future and wished each other success in their ongoing work in this area.
