A delegation of Turkmenistan headed by the Minister of Construction and Architecture Abdulla Geldiyev took part in the international exhibition and conference Big 5 Global 2025, held in Dubai from 24 to 27 November 2025.
The participation of the Turkmen delegation highlighted the high level of bilateral cooperation and Turkmenistan’s status as an important partner in the fields of construction and infrastructure. At the forum, which brought together global leaders in construction, engineering and urban development, the Turkmen side presented key national initiatives aimed at promoting advanced technologies and increasing the efficiency of the sector.

On the second day of the program, the Minister of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan Abdylla Geldiyev delivered a keynote address titled «Strategy for Sustainable Urban Development and Infrastructure Modernization in Turkmenistan». He outlined the country’s strategic vision for developing modern, sustainable and environmentally friendly urban spaces, identified priorities for national infrastructure modernization, digital transformation of the sector and the introduction of innovative and energy efficient solutions.
As part of the official program, a number of bilateral meetings were held with Assistant to the deputy minister for Federal Infrastructure and Projects of the UAE, Yusuf Abdullah Al Ali, DMG Events President Matt Denton, Global Leaders’ Summit Chair Brandy Scott, as well as representatives of government institutions and leading international construction and engineering companies. The sides discussed opportunities to expand cooperation in industrial and civil construction, promote eco friendly materials, develop modular technologies, digital infrastructure and BIM platforms, as well as strengthen investment partnerships for strategic projects.

Special attention was given to developing trade and industrial cooperation, including the supply of Turkmen glass and modern construction materials to the UAE and Gulf markets.
The Turkmen side emphasized the national priorities related to the modernization of the construction and industrial sectors, introduction of digital quality control systems, development of transport and engineering infrastructure, creation of social facilities and expansion of export capacities of the glass industry.
