The Second United Nations World Summit for Social Development has begun

The Second United Nations World Summit for Social Development, which is being held from November 4 to 6, 2025, in Doha, Qatar, has begun.

A Turkmen delegation headed by Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Turkmenistan M. Silapov is participating in the United Nations summit.

According to the conference agenda, the sections will discuss issues such as preventing poverty and ensuring equal participation of all people in society, strengthening human rights, ensuring gender equality, promoting social justice, decent work and social protection for all, the impact of demographic, technological, and environmental changes on society, international cooperation, and improving interaction with the private sector and government organizations.
