Representatives of the Hakimlik (City Hall) of Ashgabat took part in the Tbilisi Regional Forum for Sustainable Development “The Role of Peace in Sustainable Social-Economic Development”, which was held on 5-6 June 2025.
The Forum brought together members of the Georgian government, mayors, municipal council representatives, local and international speakers, experts from various field, as well as representatives from the business sector, academia, and the diplomatic corps.
During the event, discussions focused on relevant topics such as sustainable economic development, the sustainability of the investment environment, the consumption and development of renewable energy, the circular economy, the energy-efficient construction and infrastructure, the real estate market, strengthening local business for economic resilience, the development of digital technologies in the banking sector, sustainable tourism development, women’s economic empowerment, and more.
The forum serves as an effective platform for sharing experiences and will contribute to the establishment of long-term partnerships, as well as to the prosperity and development of the region.
