The spring festival – International Nowruz Day – is widely celebrated in different parts of the world today. Since the United Nations declared March 21 as International Nowruz Day, the significance of this Eastern New Year celebration has grown even more.
This year, international students studying at the University of California, Davis School of Law will once again organize a special event in honor of Nowruz. This celebration will be held in collaboration with the ALSA Association. The event is scheduled to take place on March 18, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the main courtyard of the UC Davis School of Law.
On this day, students from various countries will present their traditional dishes and showcase handicrafts in an exhibition for numerous guests. Alongside Turkmen cuisine, an exhibition of national handicrafts will also be arranged, offering visitors an opportunity to experience the rich cultural heritage of Turkmenistan.
