Rich Cultural Heritage of Turkmenistan presented at the exhibition in Islamabad

The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Pakistan participated in an exhibition titled “Timeless Serenity of Calligraphy and Arts Exhibition” held from 7th to 14th January 2025 at the Gallery of the Pakistan National Council of Arts in Islamabad.

The exhibition showcased exquisite calligraphic and artistic works by talented artists, photographers and craftsmen from ECO member countries, including Turkmenistan, glorifying the timeless cultural heritage of the peoples of the region.

The closing ceremony of the exhibition was held here on 13th January 2025, with the participation of many guests. The event was attended by the Federal Secretary of the Ministry of National Heritage and Culture of Pakistan Hassan Nasir Jamy, ambassadors and diplomats of ECO countries in Islamabad, UNESCO representatives, Pakistani government officials and media representatives.

The exhibits presented by the Embassy of Turkmenistan showcased the beauty and diversity of Turkmen culture, its rich history and modernity.

Participants showed particular interest to the presentation by the Embassy of Turkmenistan about the outstanding Turkmen poet and thinker, the founder of the Turkmen literary language, Makhtumkuli Fragi, whose work remains relevant today.
