University of California Shares Interview with Turkmen Lawyer with the Public

The UC Davis School of Law, one of the prestigious universities in California, USA, has shared a special interview with Turkmen lawyer Dr. Döwran Orazgylyjow on its LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram social media platforms. This interview, which provides insights into Döwran Orazgylyjow’s academic and professional experience, shares detailed information about his educational journey and extensive legal experience in Turkmenistan, Turkey, and the USA. Döwran Orazgylyjow holds bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in law, all of which he earned in Turkey.

According to the information shared by  Dovran Orazgylyjov  , he has provided legal services to foreign companies in Turkmenistan for over 10 years. In particular, he has supported various projects in the construction and investment sectors by providing legal consultancy. The Turkmen lawyer decided to participate in the LL.M. (Master of Laws) program at UC Davis Law School in Davis, California, to further develop his successful professional experience at an international level.

Dovran Orazgylyjov also mentioned the unique aspects of this program, emphasizing that the city of Davis is friendly and safe, especially for those who come with their families. He stated that he first became acquainted with the University of California through the Introduction to U.S. Law and English for Legal Professionals Summer Programs, which he attended in 2019 and again in 2022. “Even if one does not have the opportunity to pursue a degree in law abroad, attending summer programs at world-renowned law schools is a great experience for every lawyer,” he said.

This interview also highlights not only  Dovran Orazgylyjov s achievements in the field of law but also provides information about “Atavatan Media,” which he established in Turkmenistan. Initially created as a hobby, this media platform has now become an active media outlet with more than 100,000 followers, delivering both local and international news to its audience.

At the end of the interview, Dr.  Dovran Orazgylyjov   offered heartfelt advice to those who want to pursue multiple fields: “First, try to understand yourself, and once you achieve a balance between mind and heart in your decision-making, pursue the work you love fearlessly.”
