Cultural Events in October:Turkmenistan will host TÜRKSOY theater festival

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers M. Mammedova provided information about the main events to be held in October this year and the opening of social-purpose buildings.

Next month, various events will be held in celebration of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Pyragy’s birth, International Day of Older Persons, Memorial Day, Health and Pharmaceutical Workers’ Day, and the Türkmen Alabaý Festival, as well as the results of previously announced creative competitions. Additionally, seminars and informational events are planned to promote the tasks arising from the People’s Council meeting.

In this context, an international forum titled “Interconnections of Eras and Civilizations – The Foundation of Peace and Development” dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Pyragy’s birth, Cultural Days of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia in Turkmenistan, the II Theater Festival of countries that are members of the international organization of Turkish culture, and other events will be held.

The President emphasized the importance of good preparation for the main events in October related to the holidays and significant dates celebrated in the country, particularly for the International Day of Older Persons, Health and Pharmaceutical Workers’ Day, and the Türkmen Alabaý Festival. He also pointed out that the opening ceremonies of cultural and social-purpose buildings should be conducted at high standards, issuing relevant instructions to the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers.
