On 27 October 2023, within the framework of Tbilisi Silk Road Forum held in Tbilisi, the delegation of Turkmenistan headed by Mr. B. Annaev, Deputy Director General of Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, held bilateral meetings with Mr. G. Guramishvili, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Mr. A.Foghis, State Secretary, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Romania, Mr. Z. Chkhartishvili, Commercial Relations Officer, APM Terminals, Mr. A.Alicik, Managing Director, MSC Georgia.
During the meetings, the issues of activation and expansion of cooperation in trade and economic, transport and energy, and investment spheres were discussed. Special attention was paid to the Caspian Sea-Black Sea transport and transit corridor.
