On December 5, 2022, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Turkmen-American Business Council Executive Director Eric Stewart, Nicklaus Companies CEO John Reese, UGT Renewables Founder and Chairman Goran Rajsic, and Climate Compass CEO Kevin James, who arrived to our country in order to participate in the next Turkmen-American business forum.
Greeting the representatives of American business, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov thanked them for their interest in cooperation with our country and their desire to work in the Turkmen market.
Noting with satisfaction the solid composition of the delegation of the friendly state, the President of Turkmenistan wished the successful holding of the joint business forum, which is designed to contribute to the practical implementation of the existing impressive potential of partnership in various fields.
During the exchange of views on promising areas of cooperation, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and his guests expressed confidence that the bilateral meetings and negotiations planned within the framework of the forum would give a new impetus to further effective relations aimed at achieving concrete results. At the same time, it was noted that this year is marked by the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the United States.
Today, our countries are demonstrating their intention to build up mutually beneficial cooperation, including by focusing on such vectors as trade, investment and the intensification of business contacts. In this regard, emphasizing the significant role of the joint Business Council, the head of state thanked its Executive Director Eric Stewart for many years of fruitful activity, reaffirming the readiness of Turkmenistan to continue to take an active part in the work of this Council.
Expressing their gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the substantive and presentive conversation, the businessmen reaffirmed the desire of US business circles to strengthen their positions in the promising Turkmen market and to participate in the implementation of new joint projects.
At the end of the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and representatives of the US business community expressed confidence in the further successful development of bilateral cooperation on an equal, mutually beneficial and long-term basis.
