A meeting of Interdepartmental Commission of Turkmenistan on Caspian Sea issues took place

On the first of February 2022, in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan the next meeting of Interdepartmental Commission   of Turkmenistan on Caspian Sea issues took place.

The meeting was attended by respective Deputies Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of the relevant ministries and agencies of Turkmenistan.

In the course of the meeting, having considered the results of the activities of the Interdepartmental Commission in the last 2021 year, the participants continued the discussion of the draft of the Plan of events in 2022 and have identified priority areas for action. The issues concerning the preparation to the 6th Caspian Summit were also included into the agenda of the meeting. Among other things, issues on the development of draft documents planned for consideration at the summit were considered.

Turkmenistan intends to continue vigorous activity in this regard aimed at ensuring peace, security and stability in the region, strengthening of friendship relations, good neighborliness and broad interaction between littoral states and their peoples.
