A meeting of the head of the MFA of with the head of the UNICEF Representative Office in Turkmenistan

On December 4, 2021, there was held a meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov with the Head of the UNICEF Representative Office in Turkmenistan Mohammad Fayyazi.

Within the framework of the meeting the Head of the UNICEF Representative Office in Turkmenistan presented to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan the copies of his credential letters.

During the conversation, having congratulated Mohammad Fayyazi with the appointment to the post of the Representative of UNICEF in Turkmenistan, R.Meredov wished him every success and new achievements in his mission aimed at the development of cooperation of Turkmenistan with this international organization.

Diplomats noted with satisfaction the high level of cooperation, as well as discussed priority directions and prospects of the development of the relations between Turkmenistan and the UN Children’s Fund.

In the course of the meeting the Turkmen side noted that Turkmenistan practices a holistic approach towards the child health and development issues. This policy of the Head of State involves the development of action plans and strategies that are interrelated and mutually supportive.

The Head of the UNICEF Representative Office in Turkmenistan expressed his readiness to do his utmost for the further development of fruitful partnership on all the directions of mutual interest and expansion of the legal base of
